Job Vacancy: 1:1 TA in Reception Class - Supporting SEN (Kirkby)
Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs (SEN) in their early years?
We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant (TA) with a Level 3 Early Years or Childcare qualification to provide 1:1 support for a child with SEN in a Reception class at a welcoming primary school in Kirkby. Your Role:As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant in Reception, you will:
- Provide tailored support to a child with SEN, ensuring they can access learning in a structured and engaging way.
- Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement individualized learning strategies.
- Assist in classroom activities that promote development and inclusion.
- Foster a positive, nurturing environment that supports social and emotional growth.
- Maintain strong communication with school staff, parents, and external professionals.
- Monitor progress and provide regular feedback on the child's development.
We're looking for a candidate who:
- Holds a Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare.
- Has experience supporting children with SEN in a UK primary school setting (UK experience is essential).
- Understands early childhood development and strategies for supporting SEN learners.
- Has excellent communication, patience, and adaptability.
- Can work Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM.
- Competitive Pay - Earn £85 per day. (depends on experience)
