Your new companyHays Education are working with an SEN provision school in Knowsley. They are looking for a 1:1 teaching assistant to join their school on a long-term basis. Your new roleThis role includes working 1:1 with a pupil within the school. British Sign Language will need to be used in this role. This role will start as soon as possible and will be long term for the right person. What you'll need to succeedTo be considered for this role, you must have a DBS on the update service as well as:

  • 2+ years experience working with children (references needed)
  • Experience working with children with SEN/ Complex needs
  • Be able to use British Sign Language/ willing to learn
  • Experience working on a 1:1 basis with a pupil/child
  • Knowledge of safeguarding
