Our early years setting in Southport is dedicated to supporting young learners with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) to reach their full potential.
Role Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEND Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our early years team. This is a full-time position, ongoing until the end of the academic year 2025, where you will play a crucial role in supporting young children with SEND in their learning and development.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide individualised support to children with SEND in the early years setting.

Assist in the creation and implementation of tailored education plans.

Support classroom activities and adapt resources to meet the needs of all learners.

Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support children's progress.

Monitor and report on children's development and achievements.

Promote the social and emotional well-being of all children.
Requirements:

Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent.

Experience working with young children with SEND is highly desirable.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with young learners.
