Job Advertisement: Full-Time SEND Teaching Assistant Level 2
Location: LiverpoolPay: £85-£95 per day (dependent on experience)Start Date: ASAP
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with additional needs? We are seeking a dedicated Level 2 SEND Teaching Assistant to join a dynamic and supportive team in a special school catering to children with Speech and Language needs, Mental Health challenges, ASD, and ADHD.
The Role- Provide tailored 1:1 and group support to students with a range of SEND needs.
- Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
- Implement strategies to support learning, communication, and behaviour management.
- Promote a safe and nurturing environment to help students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
We are looking for someone who is:
- Experienced: A minimum of 1 year's experience working in a SEND environment is essential.
- Compassionate and Patient: Able to build strong relationships with children, adapting to their individual needs.
- Knowledgeable: Confident in supporting children with ASD, ADHD, and Mental Health challenges.
- Proactive and Reliable: Ready to take initiative and work as part of a collaborative team.
- DBS Cleared: An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is mandatory.
- Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a special school or SEND environment.
- A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
- Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
- A competitive daily rate of £85-£95 (dependent on experience).
