Your new company

Hays Education are working with a secondary school in Sefton to source an experienced teaching assistant to support KS3 and KS4 classes. This is a temporary position with the potential of going permanent for the right person.Your new role

This role involves:

  • Supporting KS3 and KS4 classes
  • Supporting the class teacher
  • 1:1 and group sessions across all subjects
  • Supporting pupils with SEN needs
  • Behaviour management

What you'll need to succeed

To be considered for this role, you will need a full DBS on the update service as well as:

  • 1+ years of experience working in a secondary school (references needed)
  • To be confident in leading 1:1 and group sessions for pupils
  • The ability to manage behaviour inside and outside the classroom
  • Experience working with and supporting SEN pupils in mainstream/SEN school
