Your new company Hays Education are working with secondary schools across Liverpool who are seeking qualified teaching assistants for permanent, long term and day to day bookings.Your new role In your new role, you will be supporting the class teacher in KS3 or KS4 classes to deliver the curriculum effectively. You will work 1:1 with SEN pupils and also take group work sessions outside the classroom. There are both long-term and day-to-day positions available, depending on your preference.What you'll need to succeed To be considered in your application, you must have full 'Right to work' in the UK as well as:

  • Hold a relevant teaching assistant qualification (e.g. NCFE, CACHE or NVQ Level 1/2/3)
  • 1+ years experience working with children/within a school
  • Confident supporting students with maths and English amongst other subjects
  • Be able to offer 1:1 and group sessions
  • Ability to work effectivley in a team and follow instructions
  • Strong relationship building skills
