Your new roleHays Education is working in partnership with a Primary School based in Kirkby who is looking for a Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a Year 3 pupil.This is a full-time Teaching Assistant job and will involve providing a mixture of class-based support and separate targeted intervention work with a pupil who has autism and learning difficulties. You will be working Monday-Friday, 8.30-3.30pmWhat you'll need to succeedYou will ensure the pupil stays on task with all the work given and, where required, challenge them to deliver when they are struggling. The ability to communicate clearly is essential, as is the need to explain the process behind problem-solving in subjects without necessarily giving answers. We are looking for a Teaching Assistant who not only has recent and relevant experience but who has good knowledge and understanding of what it takes to work with children with Autism and learning difficulties.To be considered for this role, you will hold a Teaching Assisting/ Childcare Qualification or an equivalent qualification in Teaching & Learning. You will have reference-able experience working in a similar role in the last 2 years. What you'll get in returnBenefits:
