Your new roleThis Teaching Assistant role is due to start in September and will run until the end of the academic year. This will be a full-time role working Monday-Friday, 8.30-3.30 in a Key Stage 1 class. In this role, you will be helping and assisting the class teacher with general tasks in the classroom. You will help students by keeping them on task with their work, making sure they understand the tasks given while watching, recording and reporting the progress students make. There will be some aspects of 1:1 and group work in this role.What you'll need to succeed

  • To be considered for this Teaching Assistant job, you will hold a Teaching Assisting/ Childcare or relevant qualification in Teaching & Learning.
  • You will have reference-able experience working in a similar role in the last 2 years.
  • You will be motivational, with a proven record of encouraging progress in pupils.
