Your new companyThis Primary School located in Prescot is looking to appoint an additional Teaching Assistant to work in Year 3 providing behaviour management strategies for a small group of pupils. This Teaching Assistant job will start in September and will be a long-term role, working Monday-Friday, 8.30-3.3-pmYour new roleThe Head Teacher has created this new role within the staffing structure for a Teaching Assistant to come and support a small group of students in a year 1 class. The successful Teaching Assistant will be responsible for spending part of the day leading adapted sessions with these pupils alongside implementing behaviour management strategies to help them interact with the class as a whole. What you'll need to succeedTo be considered for this Teaching Assistant job, you will hold a Level 2/3 or equivalent Teaching Assistant qualification, and have reference-able experience of working in a primary school or educational setting or support role in the last 2 years.A proven record of managing challenging behaviour and supporting children to understand the route of their frustrations is essential.What you'll get in returnBenefits:
