Position: Teaching Assistants

Location: Liverpool. Merseyside

Employment Type: Full-Time, Temporary

Job Description: As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other staff members to support the learning and development of students. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons
  • Providing one-on-one or small group support to students who require additional help
  • Monitoring student progress and maintaining accurate records
  • Assisting with classroom management and behaviour management strategies
  • Creating a safe and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborating with teachers and parents to support student well-being and progress

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience working with children in an educational setting (experience in a primary school is preferred)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patience, empathy, and the ability to build rapport with students
  • A commitment to promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of individual students and the school community

Qualifications: A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable, but not essential. Candidates with relevant experience and a genuine passion for working with children will also be considered.
