Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant for a secondary school in Skelmersdale rated 'Good' by Ofsted.
The position is full-time, from Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 3.20pm, term time only, with a pay rate of £86 per day.
Candidates with relevant experience working with children who have special educational needs are highly desirable, with graduates preferred.
Exceptional communication, compassion, and the ability to build strong connections are essential skills for this role.
The position starts ASAP and is expected to continue until July 2025.

Position: Teaching Assistant (Graduate preferred but not essential)

Location: Skelmersdale, West Lancashire

Start Date: ASAP to July 2025

Term: Full Time, Monday - Fridy, 8.30am - 3.20pm, term time only

Pay: £86 a day

The successful Teaching Assistant would be working under the direction of the SENCO

Requirements:

Relevant experience working with children who have special educational needs is highly desirable.
Graduates preferred.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated compassion and patience.
Ability to build strong connections with students, colleagues, and parents.
Positive attitude and genuine passion for helping students reach their full potential.
