Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: Kirkby, Knowsley

Hours: Full Time (8:30am - 3:30pm)

The Governors of a Kirkby-based Primary School wish to appoint a Teaching Assistant to join the school and work as part of a class team, providing 1:1 support to a pupil with additional requirement needs.

The successful candidate will be:

  • Suitably qualified, highly committed, enthusiastic and show initiative;
  • Experienced in supporting pupils in small groups and on a 1 to 1 basis;
  • Have experience and understanding of managing sensory needs of children;
  • Committed to raising standards, ensuring children achieve their full potential;
  • Adaptable and able to work on their own initiative and as part of a team;
  • Committed to working in partnership with colleagues, other professionals and families.
