Teaching Assistant - SEND School - Liverpool

Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking Teaching Assistants to support children with Special Educational Needs (SEND) in various schools throughout Liverpool. This role offers you the chance to work in an incredibly rewarding environment where no two days are the same!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with students on a 1:1 basis or in small groups to deliver tailored support.
  • Help implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and assist with classroom activities.
  • Promote engagement and encourage students to develop independence.
  • Assist in managing student behaviour and provide positive reinforcement.
  • Be available for supply cover across different schools in Liverpool, giving you variety and experience.

Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in a SEND environment is ideal but not essential.
  • A caring, patient, and positive approach to supporting children.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt quickly.
  • A willingness to go the extra mile for student's success.
