The School and Role

This large secondary school in Liverpool, are looking to appoint an experienced behavioural specialist to support a child in a KS4 setting with emotional and behavioural difficulties.  The role will be full-time, starting immediately, and will be ongoing, with a strong potential of being permanent should the candidate be the right fit for the child.  This co-educational secondary school converted to Academy status in 2020, and are yet to have an Ofsted inspection as an Academy.  They offer a wide range of after-school clubs and acitivies for the students and was awarded with Applied Learning status in 2006.

Requirements

The desired Behaviour Support Assistant will have;

-          Experience of working with secondary school aged children

-          Experience working with children with a SEND background/on a 1-1 basis

-          An ability to work as part of a team

-          Have, or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
