Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias)


Employment type: Permanent, full-time


Location: Speke


Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (Example hours include 6am - 2pm, however other options are available)


Salary: 45,000 - 50,000 + Company Benefits

Our client, a leading manufacturer of products for the construction industry, is experiencing continued growth and is now seeking a highly competent Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team and contribute to maintaining the efficiency of manufacturing operations.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out both scheduled and reactive maintenance on a wide range of electrical and mechanical manufacturing equipment.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and mechanical systems to ensure maximum production efficiency.
  • Support the installation, testing, and commissioning of new equipment, ensuring all safety and technical standards are met.
  • Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and improve equipment reliability.
  • Work closely with engineering and production teams to maintain smooth and uninterrupted manufacturing operations.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain and update the asset and maintenance tracking systems.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • 18th Edition Electrical Qualification (essential).
  • Proven experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong expertise in electrical and mechanical maintenance, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair machinery.
  • Competent in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and electrical diagrams.
  • Experience with PLC systems, motor controls, and robotics is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Thorough knowledge of health and safety regulations in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and work well under pressure.
