As a Payroll Supervisor, you will oversee payroll operations, ensuring compliance and accuracy in processing payroll for employees across multiple sites. Key responsibilities include:
- Supervising the end-to-end processing of weekly and monthly payrolls
- Ensuring payroll transactions comply with legislation and internal policies
- Managing payroll queries and resolving discrepancies efficiently
- Overseeing pension administration, salary sacrifice schemes, and statutory deductions
- Producing payroll reports and assisting with reconciliations
- Supporting the Payroll Manager with process improvements and compliance updates
- Providing guidance and support to payroll team members
- Extensive payroll experience, including supervisory or managerial responsibilities
- Strong knowledge of payroll legislation and compliance requirements
- High attention to detail with excellent numerical and analytical skills
- Proficient in payroll systems and Excel (lookup tables, pivot tables)
- Ability to lead a team while working under pressure to meet deadlines
