This role is ideal for a payroll professional with leadership skills who can manage complex payroll processes efficiently.

The Role:

As a Payroll Supervisor, you will oversee payroll operations, ensuring compliance and accuracy in processing payroll for employees across multiple sites. Key responsibilities include:

  • Supervising the end-to-end processing of weekly and monthly payrolls
  • Ensuring payroll transactions comply with legislation and internal policies
  • Managing payroll queries and resolving discrepancies efficiently
  • Overseeing pension administration, salary sacrifice schemes, and statutory deductions
  • Producing payroll reports and assisting with reconciliations
  • Supporting the Payroll Manager with process improvements and compliance updates
  • Providing guidance and support to payroll team members
About You:
  • Extensive payroll experience, including supervisory or managerial responsibilities
  • Strong knowledge of payroll legislation and compliance requirements
  • High attention to detail with excellent numerical and analytical skills
  • Proficient in payroll systems and Excel (lookup tables, pivot tables)
  • Ability to lead a team while working under pressure to meet deadlines
