Description
- Analyse financial data and create financial models for decision support.
- Improve financial status by analysing results, monitoring variances, identifying trends, and recommending actions to management.
- Coordinate with other members of the finance team to review financial information and forecasts.
- Provide analysis of trends and forecasts and recommend actions for optimisation.
- Guide the cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Participate in budgeting and forecasting for various business units.
- Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Profile
A successful Finance Analyst should have:
- A relevant CIMA, ACCA, ACA qualification.
- Proficiency in spreadsheets, databases, MS Office and financial software applications.
- Hands on experience with statistical analysis and statistical packages.
- Outstanding presentation, reporting, and communication skills.
- Proven knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance, and information analysis.
