Description
- Oversee the planning and execution of audit engagements.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients to understand their business needs.
- Provide leadership and supervision to audit team members.
- Ensure all audit documentation is prepared in accordance with professional standards.
- Prepare and present reports that reflect audit results to the management.
- Conduct follow-up audits to monitor management's interventions.
- Identify loopholes and recommend risk aversion measures and cost savings.
- Keep abreast of current developments in the Accounting & Finance sector.
Profile
A successful Audit Manager should have:
- Proficiency in audit software and databases.
- Experience of managing a team of auditors
- Ability to manage deadlines and budgets.
- Proven knowledge of auditing standards and procedures, laws, rules and regulations.
- High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
- Sound independent judgement.
