Your new roleThe Audit Manager will lead and manage client expectations and timelines, keeping clients informed of any delays and legislative changes. You will oversee new audit practices, identify value-added opportunities, and ensure timely clearance of review points. The role involves maintaining control of work-in-progress (WIP) and delivering high-quality outputs on audit engagements. Additionally, you will inform partners of any issues, identify process improvements, develop industry awareness as well as any other ad hoc requirements.
What you'll need to succeedThe ideal candidate for this Audit Manager role should have a relevant accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA) and experience in practice in an audit capacity to at least a senior level. You will need to be proficient in accounting software (CCH, Caseware), and skilled in Microsoft Office applications. You should have experience managing diverse clients, possess strong leadership and team development skills, and demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication abilities. Effective time management and relationship-building skills are also essential.
