Efficient management of our client's Finance team's day-to-day functioning in Liverpool. The Finance Business Partner will be part of Finance team who provides support to their CFO in implementing the team's strategy and contributing to the overall success of the business. Will oversee the Finance Assistant to guarantee the delivery of accurate reporting mechanisms and payment processes that meet our client's business requirements.

Description
The successful Finance Business Partner will have the following Responsibilities:
- Overseeing and reviewing all financial and treasury processes to maintain and improve efficiency's as needed.
- Reacting to changes and implementing appropriate processes to support the business effectively.
- Gathering and organising financial and other data from all departments, providing it to the Exec team upon request.
- Supporting the CFO in preparing annual budgets and rolling forecasts for the company.
- Continuously monitoring budgets for all departments.
- Managing any required audits to ensure up-to-date financial monitoring, where appropriate.
- Seeking out and implementing methods and practices to minimise financial risk.
- Ensuring that all of the company's financial practices are in line with statutory regulations and legislation, including Anti-Money Laundering, as per Board requirements.
- Complying with financial laws and regulations, as well as in-house policies.
- Working with the Heads of Department on any ad-hoc projects to support the overall business objectives.
- Undertaking other duties as required throughout the business.
Profile
The Finance Business Partner will have the following:
- Proven experience in effectively managing the day-to-day operations of a Finance function.
- Holds an AAT or higher-level accounting qualification.
- Demonstrates strong multitasking and organisational skills to handle various financial duties, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet tight deadlines.
- Exhibits excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain complex financial matters in accessible terms to stakeholders at different levels.
- Displays strong problem-solving abilities and skills.
- Applies an analytical approach and has a track record of proven experience in analysing financial data.
- Previous hands-on experience working with Power Pivot / Power BI tools.
- Shows flexibility and open-mindedness when approaching financial challenges.
