- Lead the Finance Assistant, providing guidance on day-to-day tasks.
- Work closely with the Finance Controller to ensure accurate and effective reporting.
- Occasionally travel to the secondary site to support a related business function.
- Ensure that financial operations run smoothly on a daily basis, with a focus on cost-based finance responsibilities.
- A strong background in financial management with experience in cost-based finance.
- Hands-on experience with balance sheet reconciliation, month-end reporting, and P&L management.
- A solid understanding of budgeting and cashflow management.
- Strong organisational skills and a proactive approach to process improvements.
- Ideally, you will have an AAT qualification, or be part-qualified or qualified by experience.
- Previous experience managing or supporting a small finance team is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
- The role requires occasional travel between sites, so a valid driving licence is essential.
- Competitive salary of £35,000–£38,000.
