A global business based in Merseyside are currently recruiting for a qualified Internal Controls / Financial Reporting Manager to join the growing business.

This is an excellent opportunity to work for a high-growth, fast paced business and suits someone who is keen on making a difference and wants to work for a company that offers progression.

This position will be primarily home based with occasional travel

Ideal applicants will be from Audit background

As Internal Controls Financial Reporting Manager your role will invole:

  • Ensuring Financial Reporting compliance across UK entities
  • Have full ownership of the end-to-end reporting process
  • Ownership of UK Risk & Controls Matrix
  • Manage onboarding of all new ICFR components
  • Ownerships of full process from documentation through to testing with external auditors.
  • Managing onboarding of all new in-scope system / process changes ensuring full compliance
  • Review of all external providers SOC1 reports
  • Key point of contact for external and internal auditors
  • Executive reporting to UK Senior Leadership Team
  • Training for all control owners
  • Working with commercial teams to improve efficiency within ICFR controls
  • Liaising with ICFR team ensuring best in class processes
  • Working on priority controls-based projects as defined by Group requirements
  • Ability to travel to multiple sites across the UK

EXPERIENCE

  • Must be ACA / ACCA qualified
  • Big 4 / Top 10 background
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet reporting deadlines
  • Strong communication skills, analytical skills, and organisational skills
  • A keen team player with the skills to manage, develop and implement new working practices and systems
  • Ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders at all levels within the business
  • Multi-entity / division experience desired
