We are proud to be exclusively partnering with our client who are leading organisation to help recruit an experienced Financial Reporting Project Manager. We are looking for candidates who have experience managing the production of Annual Reports & Accounts (ARA) and statutory accounts. This role is critical for ensuring the successful coordination and delivery of high-quality, timely financial reports and governance documents.

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end project plan for statutory accounts, collaborating with key stakeholders, managing risk, and ensuring adherence to project milestones. The successful candidate will work closely with the Financial Reporting team to produce high-quality Annual Reports and Accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage the project plan for statutory accounts, defining key milestones, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Create essential governance documents, including the Project Initiation Document (PID), risk register, and stakeholder analysis.
  • Provide stakeholders with regular updates on project progress and resolve any issues to keep milestones on track.
  • Partner with the Financial Reporting team to deliver the Annual Report & Accounts (ARA) to the required standards and timelines.
  • Manage review comments on the ARA, coordinating with section holders for efficient resolution.
  • Oversee the publication and dissemination of final signed documents, including website posting.
  • Coordinate additional governance supplements such as risk management sections.
  • Drive process improvements to streamline ARA and statutory accounts production.
