The Role:
As Group Finance Director, you'll be a key member of the senior leadership team - steering strategic financial planning while driving day-to-day financial operations. You'll partner closely with the CEO and Board, bringing both commercial acumen and hands-on expertise to guide our transformation journey.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as Finance Director or senior finance leader in a multi-entity, service-led group
- Recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Strong strategic thinker with commercial awareness and Board-level influence
- Expertise in financial planning, scenario modelling, and statutory reporting
- Skilled in cashflow forecasting, financial controls, and governance
- In-depth knowledge of UK tax and group-wide compliance strategies
- Track record in finance transformation and cloud-based system optimisation (e.g. Sage Intacct)
- Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management (banks, auditors, advisors)
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead long-term financial strategy, aligned to growth targets
- Oversee statutory accounts, reporting, budgeting, and working capital
- Deliver clear financial insight to support commercial decision-making
- Partner with the Commercial Director on forecasting and performance analysis
- Drive automation and improvements across financial systems and reporting
- Embed strong financial governance and risk frameworks
- Lead and develop a high-performing finance leadership team
- Manage external relationships with auditors, banks, and HMRC
- Shape a tax strategy that ensures compliance and efficiency
- Act as a strategic advisor to the CEO and Board during a key period of transformation
