If you are looking for a job that combines challenge and career potential with Work-Life balance then this could be your ideal next move!Your new roleAs a key member of the finance team, you will lead a small team to strengthen the delivery of core financial controls, providing technical accounting advice and producing the statutory financial accounts.You will collaborate with the management accounting and business partnering teams to provide advice and support.Reporting to a talented Finance Director you'll have a key voice in financial decisions that can impact operational delivery.You will have wide ranging portfolio including balance sheet, finance operations and asset management.You'll refresh and update all accounting policies for this large and complex organisation.You will be the key point of contact at the year end audit.What you'll need to succeedWe are looking for a qualified accountant with exceptional leadership and technical accounting skillsYou must have knowledge of IFRS accounting standards and experience of their application.Ideally you will have awareness of the government financial reporting manual.What you'll get in returnIn addition to a competitive salary, you will receive a large pension contribution of 28.97% from the organisation. Hybrid working is very flexible with just 2 days a week needed in the office.
