Our client is looking for an operator to join their team and be responsible for overseeing the coordination and monitoring of all Ocean Exports.

This role will require excellent organisational skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a central point of contact for all Ocean Export activities, including shipment tracking, carrier communications, and supply chain coordination.
  • Handle all necessary documents including invoices and bills of lading.
  • Monitor and analyse data to identify inefficiencies and implement improvements.
  • Coordinate with various teams to ensure on-time delivery and optimal inventory levels.
  • Communicate with carriers and logistics service providers to ensure compliance with transportation and delivery requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address any logistics issues and provide timely solutions.

Requirements

  • Previous experience with Export processes.
  • 2 years minimum ocean operations experience within a freight forwarding company
  • Proficiency in logistics management software (Cargowise)
