Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Trainee Export Clerk to join a growing freight forwarding business. In this role, you will assist in coordinating the transportation of goods, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining excellent customer service. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start their career in the logistics industry and grow with a supportive and experienced team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and coordinating the shipment of goods.
- Communicate with clients, carriers, and suppliers to arrange transportation.
- Prepare and process shipping documentation.
- Track and monitor shipments to ensure timely delivery.
- Resolve any issues or delays in the transportation process.
- Maintain accurate records and update databases.
- Provide excellent customer service and support to clients.
Requirements:
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Previous experience in logistics or freight forwarding is a plus but not required.
