This pivotal role involves overseeing a skilled team responsible for processing supplier payments across various services, including purchasing, maintenance, and vendor accounts. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of knowledge in finance operations and be ready to foster a productive, organised, and supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Lead, support, and manage a finance team ensuring the efficient handling of supplier invoices, purchase orders, and payment processes.
  • Process Management: Oversee and enhance workflows for issuing invoices, reconciling accounts, and maintaining accurate, accessible records of transactions.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track team performance, set objectives, identify training needs, and provide feedback and coaching for continuous improvement.
  • Client and Vendor Relations: Act as the primary contact for administrative queries, maintaining strong professional relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Data and Reporting: Generate reports and statistical analyses for senior management, ensuring the accuracy and clarity of financial data.
  • Policy Development: Implement and uphold office policies in alignment with company guidelines, contributing to a positive and compliant workplace culture.


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong numeracy and analytical abilities, with proven experience in a similar financial administration role.
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking skills to manage a busy finance office environment.
  • Proficient in relevant IT software, with strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members, management, and external partners.
