Job Title: Senior Technical Architect Microsoft EUC

Job Type: Hybrid

Job Purpose:

The role of a Senior technical Architect involves advanced responsibilities, The senior Technical Architect Microsoft EUC (End User Computing) will be a subject matter expert and will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing end-to-end solutions that enhance the digital workplace experience for the company. This role involves working closely with various departments, the enterprise Architect and Head of Strategy and design to understand their IT requirements and deliver solutions that align with the company's strategic objectives.

ExperienceEssential• Extensive Technical Architecture or Design Authority experience (A,I) • Proven track record of successful design, development and delivery of complex projects and architectures within at least one of the key areas of technology (A,I) • Proven experience in designing and implementing Microsoft EUC solutions. • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows 11, Virtual and physical desktop solutions (A,I) • Experience with cloud computing platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure (A,I) • Familiarity with ITIL and other IT service management frameworks (A,I) • Ability to analyse problems, make quick decisions to restore service and Develop tactical and strategic recommendations that may involve redesign to provide long-term solutions (A,I) • Extensive experience of interpreting business requirements into fully costed technical business proposals (A,I) Desirable• History of successful design, development, and delivery of complex projects within the M365 product set or other key areas of technology • Previous experience of documentation to quality standards such as Managed Network Design Summaries, technical Implementation Specifications and business cases • Experience in a public sector or local government environment Skills/AbilitiesEssential• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills (A,I) • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels (A,I) • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. • Strong technical documentation skills (A,I) • Ability to work independently and as part of a team (A,I) • Confidence and ability to communicate and present complex technical detail
