Description
The Validation Manager will:
- Oversee validation activities for all manufacturing processes
- Develop and implement strategic validation policies and protocols
- Implement and maintain the validation master plan.
- Collaborate with the Quality and Operations teams to improve processes
- Support the Food Safety team, quality systems & technical investigations
- Support the analysis of monitoring data to identify trends and opportunities to improve operational controls and guarantee optimum quality product.
- Liaise with internal departmental stakeholders to provide validation guidance and expertise
- Training and mentoring staff on validation methodologies
- Reporting on validation activities and results to senior management
- Liaise with external bodies and the wider company community to share and develop best practices with regards to validation, operational and quality standards
Profile
The successful Validation Manager will possess a range of the following:
- Proven experience in a validation role within the FMCG/Pharmaceutical industry
- Extensive knowledge of validation principles and industry regulations
- Excellent leadership and mentoring skills
- Project Management skills
- Demonstrable experience in a direct or indirect people management role
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail
- Experience of managing FDA, FSCC2200 and ISO Accreditations
- Level 3 HACCP (Level 4 advantageous)
- Level 4 Food Hygiene
- Strong Quality Management/Improvement background
Job Offer
- A competitive salary range of approximately 70,000 to 80,000, depending on experience.
