A large, corporate business based in Liverpool City Centre is currently recruiting for a hands-on Finance Data Manager to drive data governance, optimise data flows, and build powerful data models that unlock critical insights.

If you have a strong background in finance data and analytics, this is your chance to join a forward-thinking team in a role that blends strategy and execution.

What You'll Do:

  • Governance & Compliance: Partner with the Central Data Office to establish robust data governance frameworks, ensuring top-tier data quality and compliance.
  • Data Flow Optimisation: Manage the seamless integration between finance and operational systems, resolving data discrepancies and maintaining data accuracy.
  • Data Integration: Combine standardised and non-standard data to create unified datasets that fuel insightful analysis and reporting.
  • Data Development & Modelling: Design and optimise data models for SAP Analytics Cloud and Power BI, empowering finance teams with the tools they need to make informed decisions.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Act as the go-between for finance and IT, ensuring alignment and driving forward key data initiatives.

What We're Looking For:

  • Qualified or QBE Accountant -good solid experience
  • Professional certification in data management (e.g., CDMP, Microsoft Data Analyst) is a plus.
  • Solid experience in data management/analytics within finance, including hands-on work with data integration and warehouses.
  • Expertise in SAP Analytics Cloud, Power BI, and other data tools.
  • Proven ability to transform complex, disparate data into clear, actionable insights.
  • A problem-solver with exceptional communication skills-able to simplify technical concepts for non-tech teams.
