Experienced Technical Architect with a background in Cloud Data Centre Migrations, required for an immediate start!- 6 months initially- 2 days per week on site- £500 inside IR35 per day- Local Government background- Highly DesirablyOverview:- Cloud datacentre application hosting migration.- VMWare specialist with AVS, supporting migration planning, design and implementation.- Day to day candidates will be focused on a range of tasks, including actual configuration and implementation, testing, documentation, knowledge transfer.- There may also be a requirement to contribute to procurement requirement specificationSpec:

  • Design and implement cloud migration strategies, including the assessment of current infrastructure and the development of migration plans
  • Develop and maintain architecture blueprints and roadmaps for cloud solutions
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams and ensure best practices are followed
  • Conduct regular assessments and audits of the cloud environment to ensure compliance with security and governance policies
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and industry trends to continuously improve the council's IT infrastructure
  • Work with vendors and partners to evaluate and integrate third-party solutions as needed
  • Provide training and support to end-users and IT staff on cloud solutions and best practices
