Client Details

My client is seeking a Merchandiser to join their offices in the Liverpool area. They sell there products both to consumers and B2B. They are an established business that have been trading for more than 15 years. Their core values include, innovation, value, customer focus.

Description

  • Forecast supply and demand to prevent overstocking and running out-of-stock.
  • Create and maintain new stock codes into our internal ERP system Sage 200
  • Enter and maintain purchase details (supplier information and pricing) into our internal
  • ERP system Sage 200.
  • Place orders to replenish stock as and when needed considering production lead and transit time.
  • Arrange and track Far Eastern container shipments and address any delays/issues, keeping other internal teams notified.
  • Evaluate suppliers and negotiate payment terms.
  • Ensure suppliers are adhering to set KPI's
  • Liaise with warehouse staff and other internal teams to check satisfactory quality of delivered product.
  • Liaise with customer service to address any reoccurring product issues, addressing issues with suppliers, creating and implementing improvement plans.
  • Other duties as required - for example support with completing supplier, sourcing and

Profile

Proven work experience as a stock controller, inventory manager or similar role.

Good understanding of supply chain procedures.

Active participation in inventory audits.

Excellent organization skills.

Computer literacy in particular word and excel.

Good communication and negotiation abilities.
