Solicitor (Clinical Negligence Grade A/B)Liverpool/HybridSalary: DOEMy client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Solicitor to join their Clinical Negligence team. The successful candidate will manage and progress cases with a proactive, commercially focused approach, handling matters from inception to resolution. Responsibilities include liaising with clients, medical experts, and stakeholders to ensure clear communication and deliver positive outcomes. This role is ideal for an experienced solicitor who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a caseload of clinical negligence claims, overseeing cases from initial instruction to settlement or trial.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior team members, contributing to team success and financial performance KPIs.
  • Draft legal documents, negotiate settlements, and issue proceedings as needed.
  • Collaborate closely with the team leader to plan case strategies and drive case progression.
Essential Skills & Experience:
  • 8+ years PQE or equivalent experience in Clinical Negligence
  • Strong case management, time management, and client care skills
  • Excellent drafting, IT, and communication abilities
  • Experience mentoring junior team members
