Principal Associate (5+ PQE) in Professional Indemnity  Liverpool/Hybrid  I am excited to be working on a distinctive opportunity for a Principal Associate to join a renowned Specialty team in Liverpool. This is a rare chance to be part of a team known for tackling some of the most complex, high-value, and challenging litigation in the industry, with an impressive client base across multiple sectors.  In this role, you will manage your own caseload of professional indemnity claims, specialising in defending claims against construction professionals, including architects and engineers. You’ll be entrusted with significant autonomy, working on cutting-edge cases that shape the future of the profession. With opportunities to collaborate on large, high-profile matters, you’ll have a direct impact on the firm’s success and growth.  Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the management of professional indemnity and insurance litigation cases with minimal supervision
  • Take the lead on defending claims for construction professionals, handling a range of substantial and high-value disputes
  • Advise clients on complex liability and coverage issues, shaping strategy and outcomes
  • Collaborate with clients, experts, and counsel to drive case progression
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior solicitors and trainees, developing the next generation of talent
