Position: Interim Senior Leader

Satis Education are recruiting! Are you an experienced leader with a passion for supporting young people? We are seeking exceptional Senior Leaders to join our dynamic secondary school in Merseyside. A background in a SEN and/or PRU setting would be an advantage but not essential if you can demonstrate strong impact pastorally in mainstream.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strong leadership and management to the senior leadership team, staff, and students, ensuring the smooth running of the school.
- Lead on strategic planning and school improvement, working closely with governors and stakeholders.
- Oversee the day-to-day operational management, ensuring effective support for students with challenging behaviour or additional needs.
- Support and develop the wellbeing of all students and staff, promoting a positive school culture.
- Manage and monitor the quality of teaching and learning across both the mainstream secondary provision and SEN.
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and external agencies to ensure the best outcomes for all learners.
Person Specification:
- Proven experience in senior leadership within a secondary school setting.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead, motivate, and inspire staff and students.
- A proven track record of successfully improving student outcomes and supporting diverse groups of learners.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders, including parents, staff, and external professionals.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Desirable:
- Experience of working with students with complex needs and challenging behaviour.
- Knowledge of safeguarding regulations and best practices.
- Strong understanding of the challenges and opportunities associated with running a PRU.
