Adele Carr Recruitment are currently working closely with a client to support them in finding a Legal Finance Assistant to join their already successful and growing team.Your main roles within the team will be to support the Finance Director, Finance Manager, and all fee earners and support staff within the Business. The role also requires compliance with Solicitors Accounts Rules.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Processing outgoing client and office payments.
  • Handling incoming client money.
  • Daily HMLR (HM Land Registry) tasks.
  • Managing banking and cheque printing processes.
  • Processing incoming card payments.
  • Managing petty cash.
  • Covering purchase ledger duties.
  • Assisting the team with slip postings.
  • Performing ad hoc finance tasks as required.

Person Specification

  • Competent computer skills, including proficiency in Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Strong numerical and literacy skills.
  • Excellent time management, organisational, and multitasking abilities.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Problem-solving ability with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Flexible approach, including availability for paid overtime when required.
  • Reliability and punctuality.

This is not a hybrid role and will require you to work within the office on a full time basis. You will be given full autonomy to make this role your own and develop within the firm.
