The successful candidate will collaborate closely with senior members of the department, managing a busy caseload that includes all criminal, regulatory, and POCA matters from instruction to conclusion. Following a successful probationary period, the candidate will receive training to achieve the Law Society’s Police Station Accreditation (PSQ) and have the potential to ultimately qualify as a solicitor.Requirements The ideal candidate will be an experienced paralegal or a recent graduate with a strong interest in a legal career. They should possess excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex legal matters in clear and accessible language. The candidate must be highly organised, able to work both independently and as part of a team, and perform well under pressure. A professional demeanor, client-focused approach, and a well-presented appearance are essential.
