Search are recruiting for a Law Firm in Liverpool, and we're seeking a Junior Legal Accounts Assistant/Purchase Ledger Clerk. If you have a passion for finance, keen attention to detail with 6months+ experience in Accounts, this could be the perfect role for you!
Key Responsibilities:
* Assisting with day-to-day financial transactions, including client and office accounts
* Processing invoices, payments, and bank reconciliations
* Using Proclaim case management software to maintain accurate financial records
* Ensuring compliance with SRA Accounts Rules and other legal finance regulations
* Assisting with month-end and year-end financial reporting
* Liaising with solicitors, clients, and external stakeholders regarding financial matters
* Providing general support to the finance team
What We're Looking For:
* Basic level of accounting skills
* Experience using Proclaim (desirable)
* Previous experience in a finance/accounts or administration (legal sector preferred)
* Strong numerical and analytical skills
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
* Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
* Understanding of SRA Accounts Rules (desirable but not essential)
