Job Opportunity: Stage 1 Co-ordinator

We are recruiting on behalf of our client who is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Stage 1 Co-ordinator to join their team.

Job Purpose

As a Stage 1 Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for preparing and submitting Claim Notification Forms (CNFs and SCNFs) in a timely manner to ensure the team meets its targets. You will liaise with file handlers, third-party insurers, and clients to obtain missing information.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
  • Prepare CNFs and sCNFs to ensure they are Portal ready and submit via the Portal.
  • Make outbound calls to clients and third-party insurers to proactively obtain further information.
  • Take incoming calls from clients to assist with queries and obtain/update information required for the initial stages of the claim.
  • Liaise with external companies and internal departments in a timely and professional manner to effectively process CNFs and sCNFs.
  • Raise DVLA requests.
  • Perform Medco searches and send medical instructions.
  • Highlight errors on files and any other anomalies.
  • Accurately move work between schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with all procedural and regulatory legislation as required by SRA.
  • Take responsibility for your own actions, ensuring you keep up to date with all communications, processes, and procedures.
Experience & Knowledge
  • Develop and maintain the relevant skills required for a Stage 1 Co-ordinator role.
  • Ability to answer simple legal queries relating to the MOJ process.
  • Ability to answer simple legal queries relating to the OIC process.
  • Understanding of VF Legal.
  • Strong communication, IT, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work effectively with people across a wide range of levels and responsibilities.
