This role is within the Residential Conveyancing department.ABOUT THE ROLEAs a Legal Assistant based in the Liverpool office, you will provide direct support to the Fee Earners within the team, enabling them to operate at optimum efficiency. The role includes reviewing initial documents, checking signatures, completing risk assessments, requesting property searches, raising and replying to enquiries, and corresponding with clients, brokers, estate agents, and solicitors. You will also be responsible for reviewing and reporting on mortgage offers, drafting documents, obtaining proof of funds, placing indemnity insurance, and completing SDLT returns. Additional tasks include scanning correspondence, raising bills, preparing completion statements, and making payments.
