As part of their plans to further develop and grow the business, they have an exciting opportunity for a skilled, creative and results driven Senior Marketing Exec to add to our small close working team.

This is a great opportunity for a full mix digital and marketing all-rounder that is looking to showcase their skills. The successful candidate will help to devise and deliver the digital marketing plan, with a focus on attracting new business, whilst retaining existing and raising brand awareness via digital channels. This is a role which you can really make your own as well as having the opportunity to bring fresh ideas to the table.

The successful candidate should have proven hands-on experience in a similar position within the travel and event / ticketing industries or suchlike and should be able to demonstrate a wide knowledge and experience of digital marketing. Examples or evidence to demonstrate relevant experience would be expected.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing calendar of events and associated activities to market these on all channels
  • Drive online traffic and implement digital marketing strategies for customer acquisition
  • Build a strong email database and CRM for email marketing / automated communications
  • Improving organic search performance through existing content improvement and new content creation
  • Undertake activities including SEO/SEM, PPC, paid social and display advertising
  • Managing marketing agencies to deliver any paid / online campaigns
  • Managing the relationship with our Wordpress developers, providing clear and concise information for delivering future web developments
  • Exploring potential of new and emerging digital marketing channels and opportunities
  • Planning and managing social media platforms
  • Preparing accurate reports on marketing campaigns overall performance.
  • Ensuring email marketing activity is planned and delivered
  • Deliver improvements/enhancements to our website, increase traffic, and ultimately revenue
  • Responsibility for improving website conversion by optimising the user experience
  • Monitor and analyse all changes in website traffic, customer behaviour and changes in sales
  • Creation of any offline marketing materials including for example; flyers, presentations, posters, business cards

  • 3+ years industry experience in digital marketing
  • Copywriting and proof reading experience

Person Specification

  • Bachelors degree in marketing or other relevant field.
  • CIM / IDM Qualification or Marketing Industry Qualification
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in a digital marketing or advertising position.
  • In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms, best practices, and website analytics.
  • Highly creative with excellent analytical abilities.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies in digital marketing

Experience of the following would be an advantage:

  • Knowledge and understanding of events, ticketing sales processes, short breaks, digital marketing

Previous experience of:

  • Wordpress, Digital Marketing, Marketing Management, Project Management, Campaign Management, E-Commerce,Events, Ticketing, Package Holidays, PPC, SEO, CRM, Content Creation, Design, Video Editing, Microsoft office suite

Keen interest in:
