With a modern manufacturing facility, they are continuing to invest in the business, looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join the team. You will be joining a large design team, ranging from junior engineers, to senior and principal engineers, making it an excellent opportunity to join like-minded Design Engineers.Your new roleYour new role as a Mechanical Design Engineer will be a fully encompassing role. The main involvement in the role will be in Machinery Design & Development, but also a strong involvement with: Trials and Testing, Bill of Materials, Assembly, Procurement, Technical Documentation, Research & Development and Health and Safety, making it an interesting role to get stuck into. Working within that large team of Engineers encourages both innovation and collaboration as a business. As part of your role, you will consistently be offered Training & Development for your future. This can include paid courses and memberships, as well as on-the-job training, moving across different departments in business. This can be across production, quality, testing, assembly and maintenance to improve your skillset as an engineer.What you'll need to succeedTo succeed in this role, you will have a BEng in Mechanical Engineering, or a HNC/HND with relevant experience. Proficient in the use of 3D drawing packages is an advantage, Solidworks is desirable. Experience within a manufacturing environment is advantageous for this role too.What you'll get in returnIn return for the role, you will receive an excellent Salary of between £37,500 - £42,500. The company is open to bringing in someone Junior for the role, and would pay between £30,000 - £32,500 for the role.
