HVAC Engineer

Location: Speke, Liverpool (L24)

Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday

Salary: £21 - £22 per hour

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled HVAC Engineer to join our team at Speke, Liverpool. You will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and compliance testing of HVAC systems, ensuring they operate efficiently and meet all required standards. Principal Objectives:

  • Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) tasks on HVAC plant and complete all relevant documentation.
  • Respond to reactive callouts on critical HVAC systems, resolving issues efficiently.
  • Perform compliance testing and minor works to JSP375 standards.
  • Undertake minor AC and AHU repairs and small works as required.
  • Participate in an on-call rota to provide after-hours support.
  • Assist with generic reactive maintenance requests across the building and perform standard PPM tasks as needed.
  • Maintain clear communication of company vision and objectives, promoting core values and driving innovation.

Qualifications and Required Experience:

  • City & Guilds qualification in Air Conditioning (essential).
  • Certification in Safe Handling of Refrigerants (F-Gas).
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in HVAC maintenance and repairs.
  • Experience or understanding of Building Management Systems (BMS) is advantageous.
  • Ideally hold a City & Guilds qualification in Electrical or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively or independently.
