We are working with an education provider in the Merseyside area who are looking for a Mechanical Engineering Assessor to join their team on a full-time (35 hours per week) and permanent basis.

The role would involve you travelling to manufacturers' premises in the Merseyside area in order to assess their engineering learners on their mechanical maintenance skills.

The starting salary for this position is up to 38,000 per annum (depending on qualifications and experience), which would also include a car allowance of 2,000 p/a, business mileage, a stakeholder pension, and 32 days paid holiday (plus statutory holidays such as Bank Holidays).

To be eligible for the position, you MUST have:
-A level 3 Engineering qualification
-Good experience of mechanical maintenance
-A full driving licence and vehicle
-An Assessor award

Candidates who are multi-skilled engineers or who have experience of working in an automotive manufacturing facility would be preferred, although they are able to consider purely mechanical/non-automotive related candidates.
