Hours: Monday – Friday, Site-Based

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established business in the North West seeking an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Engineer to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a forward-thinking company operating within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The Role:

  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and improve electrical and instrumentation systems across the site.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, particularly within a BRC-regulated, food manufacturing environment.
  • Support site projects, installations, and process improvements.
  • Conduct preventative and reactive maintenance to minimise downtime.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to enhance efficiency and reliability.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in an E&I engineering role within food manufacturing or a similar BRC environment.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, instrumentation, and control systems.
  • Ability to work independently on a site-based role, Monday to Friday.
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., HNC/HND or equivalent in Electrical Engineering).
