Construction Planner (Mechanical & Electrical bias)
Job Description:
Responsible for comprehensive planning and coordination of mechanical and electrical systems within construction projects, ensuring efficient delivery, budget compliance, and quality execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed project schedules for mechanical and electrical installations
- Create comprehensive construction plans using professional planning software
- Coordinate resource allocation for M&E project components
- Monitor project budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Conduct risk assessments for mechanical and electrical systems
- Track and report project progress to senior management
- Liaise with engineers, architects, and subcontractors
Required qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management/Engineering
- Advanced certification in Project Planning (preferred)
Technical Skills
- Proficient in construction planning software, preferably Primavera P6
- Building Information Modeling (BIM) expertise
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Experience
- Minimum 5 years construction planning experience
- Proven track record in M&E project management
