Construction Planner (Mechanical & Electrical bias)


Job Description:
Responsible for comprehensive planning and coordination of mechanical and electrical systems within construction projects, ensuring efficient delivery, budget compliance, and quality execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed project schedules for mechanical and electrical installations
  • Create comprehensive construction plans using professional planning software
  • Coordinate resource allocation for M&E project components
  • Monitor project budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities
  • Conduct risk assessments for mechanical and electrical systems
  • Track and report project progress to senior management
  • Liaise with engineers, architects, and subcontractors

Required qualifications


Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management/Engineering
  • Advanced certification in Project Planning (preferred)

Technical Skills

  • Proficient in construction planning software, preferably Primavera P6
  • Building Information Modeling (BIM) expertise
  • Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years construction planning experience
  • Proven track record in M&E project management
