School Administrator

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented individual to provide administrative support focused on attendance management for the upcoming half term. This is a temporary role, offering the opportunity to work within a dynamic school environment, ensuring that essential attendance paperwork and processes are efficiently managed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the administrative aspects of school attendance, including processing fines, absence records, and attendance documentation;
  • Ensure all attendance-related paperwork is up-to-date and in line with school and local authority policies;
  • Liaise with school staff and external services to ensure smooth and efficient handling of attendance processes;
  • Work closely with the attendance service for training on procedures and systems;
  • Support the school in maintaining compliance with attendance regulations.

Requirements:

  • Experience in administrative roles, preferably within an education setting;
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail;
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines;
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team;
  • Familiarity with attendance processes in schools is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided.

This role is for 4 days per week and will cover the next half term, with potential for extension depending on need.
