We are currently working with a leading local employer based in Liverpool who is looking to appoint a Payroll Advisor on a 12-month FTC.
This is a full-time role (35 hours) with a hybrid working pattern, and the salary banding is £29,091 to £31,998)
Duties will include:
- Working as part of a team processing payroll for 4,000 employees
- Dealing with regulatory reports - P11d’s, P60’s, P45’s and pension reports
- Responding to queries from the workforce on pay and pension issues
- Handling the auto-pension enrollment process and ensuring compliance
- Dealing with various 3rd party providers, as well as internal stakeholders and colleagues
- Conducting monthly analysis and reconciliation of pay, benefits and control accounts
- Dealing with complaints and complex payroll queries
- Support with the ongoing upgrading and testing of payroll systems
- Ensuring all payroll data is recorded correctly and accurately
Experience / skills required:
- Proven track record in dealing with large payrolls
- Working knowledge of pensions
- Strong numeracy and analytical skills
