We are currently working with a leading local employer based in Liverpool who is looking to appoint a Payroll Advisor on a 12-month FTC.

This is a full-time role (35 hours) with a hybrid working pattern, and the salary banding is £29,091 to £31,998)

Duties will include:

  • Working as part of a team processing payroll for 4,000 employees
  • Dealing with regulatory reports - P11d’s, P60’s, P45’s and pension reports
  • Responding to queries from the workforce on pay and pension issues
  • Handling the auto-pension enrollment process and ensuring compliance
  • Dealing with various 3rd party providers, as well as internal stakeholders and colleagues
  • Conducting monthly analysis and reconciliation of pay, benefits and control accounts
  • Dealing with complaints and complex payroll queries
  • Support with the ongoing upgrading and testing of payroll systems
  • Ensuring all payroll data is recorded correctly and accurately

Experience / skills required:

  • Proven track record in dealing with large payrolls
  • Working knowledge of pensions
  • Strong numeracy and analytical skills
