Description
- Oversee all payroll duties within the organisation
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates
- Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports of payroll transactions
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices
- Coordinate with the HR department to verify total hours worked for each employee
- Facilitate audits by providing records and documentation to auditors
- Identify and recommend updates to payroll processing software, systems, and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
Profile
A successful Payroll Advisor should have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field
- A solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and payroll best practices
- An ability to handle confidential information
- Strong communication skills, with proficiency in English
- A high degree of professionalism and a strong work ethic
- Strong computer skills and expertise with payroll software
